Save the Western Ghats Conclave 2012
'Practitioners Conclave'
SESSIONS SCHEDULE

The Save the Western Ghats Conclave 2012 is not a routine scientific conference or workshop. It is an opportunity for all stakeholders in the Western Ghats to come together, interact, discuss, enjoy themselves and at the same time build long term sustainable partnerships. This Conclave focuses on giving everyone a platform to speak out and a patient ear to hear out stories, views and opinions. You can participate in the sessions, not just as an audience but raise questions, share opinions, experiences and suggestions. You can talk about issues close to your heart through various media like posters, presentations, performances and using any tool you want. You can network and build contacts while sipping coffee, watching folk art and listening to your favorite authors talk. You can have a private audience with any of the guest speakers, panelists and dignitaries. You can critique, question and rethink about your views on various concerns about the Western Ghats. This shall be an opportunity for every delegate to learn more and share more. This shall also be an opportunity to make new contacts, form partnerships and rekindle civil society activism towards conservation of the Western Ghats. With every activity planned out and every session chalked out, this Conclave will strive to bring together all the like-minded people from various walks of life to save the one and only Western Ghats.
